item disappearing from inventory

yesterday I got a legendary core and I was all happy, but then I went to see in my inventory, it disappeared it just was not there, how do I get it again?

I would be contacting support instead of typing it in larger than normal fonts into the forums as they will be able to verify what happened to it more than anyone here.  Here, we could only be able to speculate at best what happened...  And I'm wagering the most obvious answer will not make you very happy.

it's not in the inventory
mod page > select any mods > fusion and you'll be shown amount of legendary core owned on the right below the endo counter
