First Time Freeze Ever (As Host/void Stage) (Update 9.8.1 With Dumps)

Hi, I invited three other ppl to a T1 Void: Mobile Defense (so we had a full party).

At the beginning of the match, I realized/realised the worst frame rate I ever have gotten...after 15 seconds the game freezed, the sound was still running. After another 5 seconds the sound ended up in an endless loop. Had to start the taskmgr to close the game. I found nothing interesting in the windows event manager which was related to the process/threats... :(

Will try this again, maybe I can provide you a dump or something.

Same here. Host crashed at wave 3. Host migrated, i was host. Crashed after wave 4. I have a Intel Core Duo E6300 @2.8Ghz if it helps

Edit: it was after the hotfix.

With Hotfix 9.8.1:

Crashed again as host on Void Map, full party. This time....at wave 2, but frame rate was more stable.

Couldn't create a minidump with procdump because of the crash. I only was able to start the taskmgr and then create a (full) dump. Its uploading now, but try the link in about 1-2 hours!!! (800 MB and the upload to the servers are slow.... -.-)

Thanks for the response and being on the job, however I have this same issue and I have a dual core. I tried 32-bit, still no dice, as soon as a fourth person joins my session, be it on a map or in the waiting for vote screen, warframe instantly freezes, kicks everyone out, and I have to open task manager and force close the game.

This is terrible for me as I typically host to play because my connection is very nice, 20mbps.

have also frozen 2 times out of 3 on golem mid map but.... 1st time we are 2 ppl 2n2 time we were 3 and one maybe joined as i froze same thing for 3nd time we were 3 ppl also and somewhere in middle of map sudden freeze. can this be because of the 4th person?

no frame drops or anything odd before freezeing

if its becuse of the 4th player im gona run some private games for a bit

I am experiencing freezes now, too. But I have no single core machine, I have a duo core machine:

Intel Core 2 Duo CPU

E7200 @ 2.53 GHz

2.53 GHz, 3,50 GB RAM

When I am hosting, the game is kinda guaranteed to crash at some point. When I am in the void, I only have mini - freezes up to 3 seconds. When a freeze is a bit longer, I get kicked by the game.

This phenomenon is widely spread thoughout my friends, too. Most have problems with hosting. And when I get into a game, I very often have a host migration when the game is not even laggy. So I guess this problem is spreading.

Edit: I stopped playing right before Update 8 and never had problems before. Now that I am back, the problems are there.  I have exchanged every single driver of my PC for the newest version.

Yeah...weird that they said its a "Single Core" issue....

Yeah...like you said: most people will have at least dual core cpus and they got the same probs too.
