Help I can't chat!

So the game is telling me that I'm not qualified to talk in any of the channels.  But I've completed the first boss and I'm on Venus now.  I have no idea what I have to do to unlock chat.  I haven't played this game in years but I thought I'd load it up and try it again.... I have less than 6 hours in it.

 

 

Please help... I cannot figure this out, even using google search.

You can chatt in public . But to chatt in private u need to be mastery 1 or more.

No.... I can't chat in public.  It says I'm not qualified to chat in region or trade channels.  Also I do not see anyone else's messages.

Finish vor quest i believe , then u can play free n chat to.

I have finished the Vor Quest... I'm on Venus.  You have to kill Vor and finish the quest to be able to go to Venus.  I still don't have the ability to see or talk in any chat channels except parties

Try to restart game . Go back again , n see if it work.

I have many times.  I've also checked the options menu for chat multiple times also.  Idk what to do that's why I'm here.

I just tried to send you a message, and it says your offline. If you have been online for the last 5 mins or so, I'd suggest contacting Support, then waiting patiently for them to respond. May take them a few days.

Keep doing progress in the game . Like finish 1 or 2 more junction . Restart game . See if it work. If it didn't work , send ticket to DE.

If you do, I will try again. A quick search of the Forums shows a few others have had this same issue, and required Support to see it corrected.
