Anatolius
Hundreds of thousands of nanobot insects live underneath Nekros’ skin fibers and originate from his armored shoulders and back where they live and breed. They feed on both organic and synthetic matter. Their life cycle is rather short so they are constantly dying, being broken down, then replaced throughout the day. Their main route of existing the body is located along the red marking on his arms and neck. Upon killing an enemy, several of these insects will crawl out from under the skin and make their home inside the bodies of which Nekros has killed. These insect glow with the same color of your energy. Here they will rabidly clone themselves inside the new host until they have taken up a large volume of this host. They will also live inside the brain and on top of the flesh and armor of those who have fallen. Upon summoning using SotD the nano insects will quickly teleport this body to its host’s side and attack any enemy who is not infected. The small cluster of lights you see flying around are these nano insects, fluttering around, controlling their host and seeking out others to kill. Anatolius
Considering this game disobeys a lot of basic physics and scientific reasons I like to think that there are SOME known scientific fiction factors that apply. its not all magic

KvotheTheArcane1
This doesn't mention any nanobots. Hm, no idea then. Could have been something DE said, or something I read on the WF wiki (game wiki, so whatever is found there should be taken with a grain of salt obv)

Kalenath
But MOAs don't have brains neither flexible armor, do they? Do we KNOW that? Do we KNOW which parts of warframes (and the Tenno inside them) that the Corpus used to make the MOAs?

They feed on both organic and synthetic materialMaybe not the best word but basically they can interfere with the core processes of robotic entities as well seeing as they are robots themselves just smaller. The armor doesn't need to be flexible to borrow through or live on top of. It's like drilling a hole into a car. Anatolius
Also non of this is real lore and I doubt DE would accept it but I just like coming up with reasons for this stuff.
Morec0
Do we KNOW that? Do we KNOW which parts of warframes (and the Tenno inside them) that the Corpus used to make the MOAs? Even if they don't, they still have circuit boards and processors that could be tampered with by nanobots.

(NSW)The_Madrigal
It'd be awesome if the nanobots could morph the host into something, like, say a giant fist. Like Generator Rex. That show was great
