Try verifying the cache and if it still persists you may have to reinstall.

Please also check your pc stats. There have been changes to the minimum supported specs.

yes to the verifying (but please ONLY via the launchers options, NOT if one is using steam and tries this via the steam option of the game...)

the supported specs don't say anything at all about the game running or not - the change there was recently was due to the new contend (well, 'new' is relative here, since the problems people had are there since the PoE update) and does not prevent players form running the game - but if those players complain about low fps, lags and crashes that roots in their 'below supported' specs, it's not DEs fault anymore (legally, not necessarily in technical sense).

anyway, if the OP never had the problem before - he's not very informative about this being the first start or not, since he isn't new here (at least his profile say so), i guess the hardware reason is not the problem (ofc, it still might after a hardware change to potato standart ^^)    EXCEPT.... and that is a possibility IF he had put in a new graphic card (which happens more often than one might think). so, if this did happened after a vid-card exchange, i recommend deleting the launchers config file which is located in:  ( c:\Users\[USER_NAME]\AppData\Local\Warframe\ ) there you will see a folder with a long, hexadecimal name. in this folder is a file named "settings" (no file extention) - this is the file in question. delete, rename or remove it somewhere else (or, you can also delete the folder with the hexadecimal name too, it doesn't matter) - then start the launcher and go into its options to activate whatever is wanted/needed and then start the game. btw, if you don't the AppData folder, make sure the explorer settings are active for 'show hidden files/folder'.

if no hardware was changed recently, check the warframe logfiles for any problems - they are in the same folder the hexadecimal subfolder is (which btw is re-created when deleted and the game is restarted - same goes for the EE.cfg if one has different kind of problems). the likely logfile would be the launcher.log - for crashes during a mission, the EE.log might give some insight... or not... beside the launcher.log, the preprocess.log might hold some info (launcher.log contains network connection stuff when starting the game and the preprocess.log the hardware related things that happen at game-start).
