I can't patrol an entire section of the forums, and neither can any of the other moderators. If you want to keep a thread from getting locked, it is as simple as adhering to the Code of Conduct. If someone isn't playing nice or doing something that will result in the thread getting cleansed or locked, report them. Reports are the primary way moderators and administrators know if something is going on. It's a way of focusing on specific issues amidst the gigantic ocean of content that is the forums.
