name got changed, can i appeal this?

i have been playing for a year under the name "lilwanktank" and there have been no problems until recently, when it was changed. the name is a joke and people thought it was funny if they thought about it at all. i dont have the plat to change it back, is there any way to appeal this? or am i screwed

You can try a support ticket I guess, but I doubt you'll get your name back.

Profanity, regardless who finds it funny or how tame you might think it is, is more than likely banned by guidelines or terms of service.  Probably more likely you got away with it for a year, rather than it was acceptable for a year and now is not.
