The issues with warframe augments

Gauss` 3rd ability augment Thermal Transfer is a perfect example of what I said on bullet point 3. The ability changes from a trap base ability to a weapon buff ability, this is the kind of augment DE need to make. When I first saw it through "if it only works for allies, than this is a bad augment for me but if I get the benefit then this is a very good augment". 

 I personally don`t like augments that don`t benefit the person using it and only allies (Ash`s 2 ability aug), they have to always benefit the person using it, I love abilities that manipulate elements and statuses like Chroma, Lavos (but he is unfortunately ugly) and now this.

Again this are the types of augments we needs, ones that change the behaviour of the ability to present new gameplay styles.
