Biotic_Prototype_6
Titles says everything, you kill them before you can even react to the finishers. Plus i don't know but finishers in general seems to be a lot buggier, i tried to run a mission as Gara and couldn't do a Finisher in a single blinded enemy. Also on top of that, the Mercy Finishers on Kuva thralls dont give credit to the Nightwave missions. Edit: You also can do Mercy Finishers with your Operator. BansheePrime
Normal non mercy finishers were also moved to the use key for some reason.

Arguably for good reasons, it's been moved to the Use\Action Key. This allows you to perform combos without being interrupted by Finisher animations, which can only be performed on one enemy at the time. This is useful with Warframes such as Inaros, Excalibur, and any user of Naramon's Executing\Surging Dash ability. Additionally, it allows you to choose when to perform finishers, which is useful when you DON'T want to accidentally attack/kill an enemy with a regular attack (stealth mission, Nightwave challenge, Riven challenge...)

They also still hack wiggling their fingers which are more high tech then the new warframe tool needed to hack.

And yet they should give those of us who don't play those frames and found it more useful on the melee key an option to return it to that, cause it's so impractical and annoying right now, and it doesn't benefit me at all. Casardis
A toggle for "bind finishers to melee key" could be doable I think. They practically did that to the Use key after all, so I don't see how it should be difficult for them to implement. Biotic_Prototype_6
It would be way better if they tied the Mercy Finishers to a different condition other than lowering enemy HP, like perhaps a knockback atack using Heavy Atacks or something like that. As it is, is just completely impractical, if we had control of it's usage then perhaps we could find it useful somehow like doing a finisher in a Nox so we can dmg him without getting shot on or something like that.
