Kuva Lich Opt-Out Option?

Is there a way to opt out of the Kuva Lich system?  I accidentally killed one of the larva things in an exterminate mission, and now I have this annoying Lich dude on my navigation.  I have neither the desire or the mods to invest into this game mode.  Is there a way to opt out for now and come back later when I feel like intentionally making a Lich?

Doesn't help with the nuisance we are currently saddled with, but I guess that's a start. That really sums up how I feel about the kuva liches: nuisances. Not challenging, just tedious.

To be fair, "challenging" content is contrary to DE's idea of player retention in more ways than one, in the same way that you can describe what does fit that idea as "tedious".

No one seems to be answering you. You killed it, you are stuck with this one. They patched it so you have to interact with the larva moving forward so it is possible to not get another until you want it.
