Does levelling normal Excalibur still give mastery after Umbra?

I have Umbra but not normal Excalibur, if I build and level normal Excalibur now will mastery points be given?

Sorry if this has been asked many times, I thought there would already been an answer but trying to google "is Excalibur Umbra mastery separate from normal Excalibur mastery" (and various permutations) seems to only give posts saying whether Umbra gives mastery at all or comparisons between Prime and Umbra

Every Warframe variant is its own 'Warframe' and thus gives their own Mastery Exp.

Ivara is a separate frame from Ivara Prime.

Excalibur Umbra is a separate frame from Excalibur/Prime.

Yep, they have seperate mastery.

They both have seperate mastery rank. This also applies to other Warframes, and Weapons of many variants. From Originals, Prismas, Kuvas, to Primes.... etc.....
