Fevix
Getting downed in a Railjack mission is a death sentence unless you're on the Railjack. If you're in open space, or going at one of the objectives, if you go down there is no chance your team is going to make it to you in time to rescue you, meaning if you go down, you're all but forced to blow a revive. I'd strongly suggest putting it on a timer system, and instead of reviving them where they went down, revive them on the Railjack. The timer could increase each time you go down, meaning it still discourages dying, but doesn't lock you out entirely. This would also play into the upcoming Solo aspect that's planned to be added to Railjack with the Command intrinsics, as I don't think players will be terribly happy if they fail a mission due to the NPCs bugging out/getting stuck on geometry and not being able to revive the player.
BansheePrime
I've never had the chance to see myself but apparently you can recall while downed.

Most people fail to realize that you can (with Tactics 4) use the Omni while downed to recall to the Railjack for a rez. Instead, they blow a revive, which caps at 6 with two installed (and Rank 3) arcanes.

Warping dosen’t work while being downed so you have to blow the Revive unless a Teammate is near.

Which takes 5 seconds out of the like 20 seconds you get to stay in the downed state, PLUS the time it takes you to open the gear wheel and select the Omni, PLUS the fact that you never know which entrance you're going to wind up at so even if you're in a squad who uses voice they won't know where you're going to arrive....
