(PSN)DeZaruu
I've tried changing colours, but as someone who wants to use a specific colour to match my Saryn, it's a simply way too bright. Not even sure what it's meant to show - an example below Edited December 24, 2019 by (PS4)DeZaruu
Mephane
Same on PC. I generally don't like that shoulder glow effect. It seems so arbitrary, there's no particular element of the weapon that emits the glow, just some glowing blob painted over the texture. I'd rather instead maybe the protruding metal spikes become glowy, now that would be cool.

And yeah, when choosing colours it actually looks fine - it looks like a small pulsing aura on the weapon. But when you get to see it in a mission, you have a huge spot which looks like a mistake was made. Ruins the awesome look of it.
Colyeses
Plus, the weapon flashes a ton. Even while redoing colours, it kept flashing for some reason, which hurt my eyes.
(PSN)DeZaruu
I've been reading the hotfixes for PC, and this specific concern doesn't seem to be addressed - and curious if you at least could make it so if we chose a black colour for the first energy slot, it'll decrease the glow? Like others said, it doesn't seem to be glowing for any specific reason or part, it's just a bright glow on the weapon
