This thread is so sad T_T it only validates ideas like https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/117188-how-to-implement-storylore-in-a-win-win-scenario-for-de-and-players-tldr-included/ and Notion's Cells all the more. *sigh* Someday right guys? SOMEDAY WE'LL HAVE STORIES AND LORE RIGHT?!

*going to happy place*

Until I get a Warframe Anime with Caramelldansen and all the frames dancing along as its open theme (I don't even like that mess of a song, I just think it would be funny to see Nekros shake what his momma gave him), then you shall forever remain in the cold depths of Warframe-Niflheim. I'm just going on the "feel" of the frames as I play them.

Ash

Consumate professionnal who adheres the most to the 'old ways', normally shunning the more convenient high tech weapons for those of a more hands-on nature. Doesn't disregard teamwork (he does his fair share to support fallen teammates) and acts as a mentor to Excalibur in the way of the sword.

Banshee

Actually the most introvert of the group; her frame is a polar opposite of her personnality which she likes to use to show "she's there". Especially whenever she uses sound quake : everyone knows she's there, including the furniture.

Ember

Not really hot tempered but she has an unusual fixation on her abilities. While the Warframes prevents to see one's face, most would agree that she tends to giggle whenever she lights up someone on fire.

Excalibur

One of the newest members of the Tenno to awaken, still in training under Ash for melee and aspires to become an equally potent warrior while also adapting to the new technology as given.

Frost

Leader of the current Cell; Frost oversees operations and the dispatching of the Tenno on the field. Tends to stick to military tenure at almost all times, often making decisions based on efficiency more than safety.

Loki

Actually quite the prankster, known to pull those even in the most dangerous situations. Often the subject of glares (one would suppose) and reprimand, yet undeniably effective in the field.

Mag

Using a Warframe which she subjected to slight alterations, testing them out in the field at every opportunities. Has a long-standing respectful relationship to Vauban, which she shares her passion for tinkering with.

Nekros

Having been subject of Corpus dissectations before being saved, Nekros' abilities stem from his inner rage of wanting retribution upon the enemy by making them face the fallen. Often staying aside from the group on assignments.

Nova

An experimental attempt at controlling anti-matter technology, Nova is the most unstable of the lot. Tends to have a very volatile temper which seems to randomly trigger on a whim.

Nyx

The team's psychological adviser; uses her abilities both in combat to confuse the enemy and outside of it to ensure proper mental health of the Cell.

Rhino

Was found on Mars of his own volition, the only Warframe to have extracted 'himself' from his pod and regrouped with the current Cell. Tends to boast his bodycount from that escape though his ferocity would lead some to think he's not exagerating.

Saryn

The team's scientist, Saryn is the one who's on duty in searching a mean to reverse the technocyte virus' spread. At the same time, she uses the opportunity to weaponize her research as new biological tools of warfare (thank god for no geneva convention!)

Trinity

The Cell's medical officer, having a concerning outlook on the current situation. Usually avoids conflict unless required on a mission during which she shows she 'can' disregard etiquette and prove an efficient combattant.

Vauban

The engineer of the Cell, his Warframe actually has no abilities of its own, having crafted the gadgets which he uses to fight. Proves to be an effective force when faced with groups.

Volt

The resident athlete; compared to Ash, Volt is perhaps a fitness freak, ensuring every member of the Cell gets their daily routines done to make sure they are at their peak at all times.

I've actually given a lot of thought to this, since I spend a vast majority of my time thinking anyway :x

I'll give mine under the cut, since they're probably a bit longer than most we see here. I use references to other characters (almost exclusively from Red Vs. Blue, haha..) for convenience, but it doesn't necessarily mean I got the inspiration from those characters... They are more based on their powers and how they tend to play, I suppose.

Anyway, it's all under the cut, straight from a notepad I had saved for something like this <-<

Edit: I suppose it's also important to mention that I don't think any of this would show up in-mission. They're, well, ninjas. No emotion in battle. All of this would probably show up after they get back, etc.

Excalibur: Very strong sense of Justice and Honor. The kind of guy that would not ever hesitate to stand up for his beliefs.

Loki: Immature sense of humor, loves to pull pranks that really only he finds funny. Loves to laugh, loves to smile. Harbors a lot of insecurities, though, and often makes jokes about them to hide the fact that they bother him. (Think Beast Boy from Teen Titans. He's like that.)

Mag: Very intelligent. A bit of a utilitarian, approaches things almost exclusively logically, except when it comes to things that make her emotional (i.e., death of a friend, etc), which cause her to break down, sometimes almost completely.

Rhino: Stoic, apparently emotionless, etc. Prefers to use physical motions (pointing, gestures, etc) rather that speech to communicate (But not exclusively -- As in, if something could be a one-word answer, he'd gesture instead of speaking). Difficult to anger, but threats to his friends immediately enrage him. Loyal.

Nyx: Very good at reading people based off of their body language, speech, habits, etc, and is very proud of her ability to do so. However, she's very vague about her "readings," which often leads to her being close, but still wrong. A crowd-watcher -- she prefers to watch people talk amongst themselves than participate in conversations.

Frost: Calm, level-headed, and protective. The "protective big brother" type, but not aggressive or overbearing. (Red vs.Blue fans, he would be like North Dakota from seasons 9+10.)

Ember: Ambitious, prideful, and driven. A hothead. Takes losing or failure very personally. (RvB fans, again, think South Dakota from seasons 9+10.)

Volt: Energetic, hyper, etc. Thinks fast, moves fast. Also extremely intelligent, sees solutions to problems that others don't. The only one to share Loki's sense of humor, but often thinks Loki takes his pranks a bit too far.

Saryn: The "condescending b****." Very quick to point out people's flaws, and is a bit full of herself. Finds enjoyment in other people's misfortune. Not cruel, however, just the type of person to laugh at someone after they fall over. Tends to follow Banshee around, though Banshee isn't too fond of her.

Banshee: Extremely attentive, and always knows exactly what's going on. Always has a plan of some kind that she never tells anyone. Gets along great with Nyx.

Trinity: Strong sense of responsibility. Often takes on a motherly role. Sees teammate's injuries as her own personal failures.

Ash: Somewhat insane -- Overly aggressive, almost completely silent (Almost exclusively one-word answers, etc), prefers solitude, and is without remorse, for anyone or anything. (RvB fans once again, think Agent Maine pre-Meta.)

Vauban: Extremely intelligent, but is a bit of a loner. Prefers to work on his own projects, as opposed to interacting with others. Works well in a group, though. Just not the guy to start the conversation.

Nova: Excitable, jubilant, "bubbly." A bit of a pyromaniac in the more literal sense -- A love for explosives. Not to cause damage though, she just loves the thrill. Extremely intelligent, perhaps moreso than both Mag and Volt.

Nekros: A loner in the most literal sense. Avoids conversation, and has never actually been observed speaking or showing any emotion, and is presumed to be a complete mute. Tends to scare his teammates, though he doesn't really mean to. Fascinated by death, in the same sense that a poet would be. Nyx absolutely hates him, because she can't read him.

Excalibur: Dumb little kid who watches too much Corpus porn.

Rhino:  Dumb giantic bear that simply hates people.

Ember: Hysterical 14 y.o. gal with "Very bright world inside her".

Ash: Kid got scared 4 life by occasional going in his parent's bedroom at night. Scared by everything, he pineth everytime, that's why everyone think that he is cold-blooded and brave.

Loki: Was beaten like a dog in his childhood. That's why today he is trying to bully everyone.

Volt: He would be called a "typical clubber on ecstasy" if there was at least one. Always consumes stuff, always impatient and can't sit on one place even for a minute.

Saryn: Despite her looks, behaves like a "mommy". Not in the way of talking how useless you are, but in the way of caring too much and taking rejection as offense.

Banshee: The only one educated from the whole pack. Always feel disgust to her teammates (Simply can't get along with them because of their stupidity), but understands that she can't live alone.

Necros: Junkie who dresses weird and doing weird things. Loves to cosplay, giving an enemy a huge piece of WTF?

Nyx: Psycho. Not in terms of being a maniac, but in terms of not feeling a damn thing. Follows the rules because "They said it's right to do this". Leaf on the wind.

Mag: Autist.

Frost: Very old fella, living more in his dreams than this world. Always behaves like he is sleepy.

Nova: Smoking drinking pushover li'l gal which makes hell of a lot of noise.

Trinity: OCD.

Vauban: Eternal child at heart. Childishly cruel, loves to play with fire and everything that explodes.

So your favourite frames are Banshee (for whatever reason), Nyx and Vauban. Call it a hunch.
