My Big Ol' List Of Weapon Clipping Issues In Warframe [Wip]

These are spots I've noticed weapons clip into warframe or other weapons. I'm only pointing out the ones I can spot when the warframe is still. Taking each of these weapons into a  level and testing them individually is a little too much like work for me. If you know of a place where warframe movement causes clipping please post it, as removing clipping issues go a long way to making a game look more polished. :)

 

note: I'm posting the stance I have my warframes set in, but I'm not going to test it with all of them because too much clicking.

 

Ash (neutral Stance)

Primaries

  • Mk1 Braton, Braton and Braton Prime: slightly clip with his shoulder when on back.
  • Dread: I think the energy string is supposed to go across the chest but it clips through it when on his back.
  • Hek: clips with his shoulder when on back
  • Ignis: clips very, very slightly into Ash's spine when on back. Probably don't need to do anything about it.
  • Miter: seems to look like it's stuck in his back rather than on it.
  • Ogris: same issue as above
  • Paris: Same issue as Dread with the string, also clips too far into his back.
  • Paris Prime: Same issue as Dread with the string, also clips into his spine and butt.
  • Sobek: clips into his shoulder when on his back

 

Secondaries

  • Acrid: clips into the thighs where the guns barrel connects to the handle.
  • Bronco Prime: clips into thigh.
  • Dual Bronco (probably the single as well but I don't have it): Clips into Ash's thighs.
  • Dual Vasto and Vasto: clips into thighs.
  • Hikou: clips into thighs a small amoung.
  • Kraken: Clips into the front of Ash's thighs.
  • Seer: The rings clip into Ash's thighs.
  • Sicarus: Clips into the thigh.
  • Gremlins: clips badly into Ash's hips and thighs.

 

Melee

  • Amphis: clips into Ash's spine.
  • Bo: same as amphis.
  • Ankyros: clips into Ash's wrists and wrist blades.
  • Dark Sword: clips into Ash's Spine.
  • Dual Ether: clips into Ash's Shoulder.
  • Dual Heat Swords: same as Ether and the dagger clips into the small of his back as well.
  • Dual Skana: Same issues as Dual Heat Swords.
  • Dual zoren: They clip very slightly into his butt. You have to look disconcertingly close to notice it though. Same with the Dagger Axe Skin.
  • Ether Daggers: Tip of lower dagger clips slightly with Ash's thigh.
  • Ether Sword: Clips slightly with Ash's spine.
  • Fang: Tip of lower dagger clips slightly with Ash's thigh.
  • Fragor: clips very slightly with his shoulder.
  • Galatine: clips badly with his Spine.
  • Glaive: Clips into his side this is really noticeable when holding a primary. Not sure what can be done about this one.
  • Gram: Clips into his spine.
  • Heat Sword: clips into his shoulder, but only when he does his idle animation.
  • Jaw Sword: Clips badly into spine. Also clips into shoulder during idle animation.
  • Kestral: Same issues as the Glaive.
  • Matchete: clips badly into Ash's spine.
  • Mire: Same issue as above.
  • Orthos and Orthos Prime: Clip into Ash's spine. Orthos Prime is the worse offender of the two.
  • Plasma Sword: clips badly into Ashe's spine.
  • Reaper Prime: Clips badly into Ashe's shouder during idle animation.
  • Skana and Skana Prime: Clips into Ash's spine.The standard skana clips much much worse while the Prime only slightly clips.

  • Boar and

  • Ignis: clips into butt plate when on back.
  • Miter: clips into butt plate when on back.
  • Paris: clips into chest and hips when on back.
  • Paris Prime: clips into hips and butt when on back.

 

Secondaries:

  • Acrid: clips into knee.
  • Bronco Prime: clips into hip.
  • Dual Bronco: the one equipped on the right leg clips into thigh.
  • Dual Vasto: clips badly into thigh.
  • Hikou: clips bady into thigh.
  • Kraken: clips into thigh.
  • Seer: clips into thigh.
  • Sicarus: clips into thigh.
  • Gremlins: clips into thigh, the one of the right leg is much worse.
  • Twin Vipers: the weapon on the right leg clips into thigh.
  • Vasto: clips badly into thigh.

I just did Saryn - Noble.. But as I clicked More Reply Options to make it pretty, my internet cut out... When I refreshed the page, it took me back to the Warframe Forums Home page.

I'm sufficiently disheartened.

I'll do it again later on, when I've finished crying in my corner.

I love Saryn, I really do. However I must admit tha,t with the exception of the Hemlock helmet, she is a considerable offender in this for two of her 3 helmets do some noticebale clipping with heavy melee weapons (ei the handles stick through the back of it).
