Deimos offers a peek at the true potential of Orb Vallis and Plains of Eidolon

Watching the Deimos open world gameplay made me see that there's so much that can be done to make Orb Vallis and Plains of Eidolon amazing.

1) Infested insect ride on Deimos which we fly  around on, and can shoot our secondary weapons.
- The K-drive should get an upgrade / rework to allow this on both PoE and OV. Or, that Infested insect ride can be brought back with us to our ship, be part of our pets, and be used in the other open world maps

2) Deimos mecha boss fight and piloting that mecha
- Tusk Thumpers should be redesigned for similar potential. Capture. And used by us for some objective on PoE. Capturing Thumpers could result in threat escalation by the Grineer whereby enemies deploy more Thumpers and you get Thumper vs Thumper gameplay. At night, perhaps idle Thumpers can be used for Thumper vs Eidolon
- Coil-drives should be redesigned so we can grand theft coildrive them and use them for some objectives on OV

And to tie the open world maps to other parts of the game - I'd say the Deimos Mecha, Thumpers, Coil Drives, could eventually be captured permanently and added to our inventory as permanent additions to our open world arsenal. Now we can upkeep them, and more importantly, pimp our rides using Dojo research.
- Captured Coil-drives can be upgraded at the Dojo Energy lab, swapping out the mounted guns, or improving movement speed, braking, targeting subsystems, adding additional guns and missiles for more firepower.
- Captured Thumpers can be upgraded at the Dojo Chemical lab. Again we can swap guns, improve armor, jumping recharge time, targeting systems, etc.
- Captured Deimos mechas can be upgraded at the Bio or Orokin lab. Again, swapping the guns, improving armor, etc.
- Certain new mission types in Orb Vallis, Deimos, and PoE can be added, which feature more vehicular-type enemies, and they encourage you to deploy your custom-upgraded vehicles to complete the mission. New players without upgraded vehicles can still hijack vehicles from enemies and struggle to win but once they start capturing and upgrading their rides, it becomes easier, and then open ups higher-level difficulties of similar vehicular-gameplay missions. If you have upgraded each vehicle enough and you feel gutsy enough to try to slam a square peg into a round hole, you can deploy Coil-Drives or Deimos Mechs to a mission designed for Thumper vs Thumper, or deploy Thumper for a mission designed to be a Coil-Drive race off and attempt to jump to the finish line faster than the enemies can roll, and so on.
