How do I participate in discord giveaways?

I want to participate in the giveaways on discord. Discord refuses to send me push notifications. I want in on the action! I missed yet another giveaway 1 hour before I posted this. Please help

Good question i don't really participate in those but you just need to react ^.^ 

I also don't get notifications either so i guess its not easy to do ^.^

Right-Click the #giveaways text channel and after hovering over "Notification Settings" choose "All Messages". This way you'll always get a push notification whenever there is a new post.

Thanks. Yes I did that already. Just for extra credit I did it on my mobile app, the website, and the PC app. On the mobile app there was a short pop-up that said something to the effect of "Channel has too many followers, push notifications will not be sent". Feels bad. Especially when the giveaways like today only lasted 20 minutes before they closed the ability to enter.

That explains why I don't get notifications. It sucks that us new players won't get a chance at those giveaways unless we spend all our time watching the channel instead of playing.
