New Gamemode idea - Roguelike Warframe

New gamemode, akin to other roguelikes, such as Dead Cells, binding of isaac, enter the gungeon or risk of rain. Accesible from the Orbiter, through the same account as main Warframe.

-You start by selecting Excal/Mag/Volt. Other Warframes can be found during runs.

-Each run consists of series of randomly generated missions and tiles. You can find any weapon avaible in the game, but it will disappear once you die. Found warframes are unlocked and can be selected at the start of another run.

-Each run lasts up to 50-60 minutes, where the game becomes too hard to play.

-Reset level at death, so each run starts at lvl1. One level is shared among ALL of your weapons, so if you find skana while being level 10, this will also be level 10. Mods are accessible, but in the non-upgradable way. You can mod weapons/frame as you go, but you cannot change your weapon. If you change Hek to Sibaris during the run - you drop the other weapon on the map. All collected mods disappear once you die.

-Credits/endo/other currency and resourses you collect are used to unlock the chance to spawn an item. You will be seeing basic weapons in the runs untill you buy them on the orbiter (maybe after also finding a bluepring for that weapon). It's similar to the way Dead Cells progesses - weapon you find is randomized, and you can find blueprints that unlock chance to spawn that specific weapon.

-Boss every few stages that has a higher chance to drop something usefull.

-Some of the items collected in the RogueFrames get transfered to the main game, so that most of players that do not like roguelike gamestyle would still try and play new gamemode.

-Trading is forbidden, obviously.

-Challenge is always there, because you always start at level 1 and you only get higher chance to run into a specific weapon or mods. Higher difficulties spawn harder enemies, but also have higher chance to spawn better mods and weapons.

-Primed verions are also unlocked at the orbiter, but you still have a chance to run into the regular version.

-This gamemode will allow players to toy with the weapons they don't regularly use or don't even have in their arsenal.

-Costs of buying/spawn rates are proportional to master rank requiered. So in the beginning you would be seing a lot of Bratons, towards the higher difficulties/later stages - Grams etcs.

-All weapons are in the RogueSouls, so you basically get unique set of weapons everytime you do the run.

-Warframe abilities are all unlocked at lvl1, for obvious reasons, but they still do level up.

-I guess you could mod your frame before the run starts, but you would have to find better versions of the mods as you go.

Maybe as spinoff or mobile game at best, but not as main game mode, Warframe is a mixed mess of things already, not need more to add and rather rework and fix what we already have.

Edit: Also agreeing with @Laveilon under me, stop shoving things in because they are popular, not everyone likes it, if you want such, play such games or make your own.

Genres exist for a reaosn and as much i like some big mix, it simply can't work often due nothing can be focused on anymore in development as again seen in Warframe moving from one to the next and old stuff left broken and forgotten. You even see this with focus on things,s MMO's and abandonded Dungeones becasue no replay value.

To spin your spin:

Make it a gamemode, like Sactuary Onslaught.

You start with whatever frame, weapons, companions you want.

You start with No mods.

You fight through a room like in sanctuary, 3-5 min survival, with a bonus objective to kill 500 + (100 x Room number) enemies.

After each fight you go back to a lobby room, where you can spend 'gamemode credits' earned by surviving & compleating bonus on upgrades.

After 3 min or when everyone readys up, you do the next room, with +10 levels.

An alternitive 'ready up' point should be available that offers a +50 levels option, and maybe a third that offers +100.

You get rotation rewards every 50 zones cleared. If you skip zones, you get 'gamemode credits' for waves skipped, but not bonus.

Rotation would be A, B, B, C . After each C rotation (+200 levels), the rewards double, and a random nightmare modifier is added (health drain, smaller energy pool, ect).
