Deimos got really shiny after great ensmallening

So i reinstalled the whole game after the great ensmallening due to problems installing it and chose to help my friends do deimos content and when i loaded in well this is how deimos looks for me removed the corner (discord call) and blocked out my friends names the game looked fine up until this point before that it looked fine

Edit: i have now re optimize download cache and then verified it. It then found a 6000mb update so this is fun i am so confused will edit again when it's done
Edit 2: infinite cannot get update from server at 25% 
edit 3: so after sitting though cannot get update from server enough times it finished and the drift looks fine now but now im more confused then when i started

this happens a lot in Minecraft, when the game doesn't/can't load in assets/the world quick enough.

what has happened here is that your game "forgot" to download the vast majority of the "ensmallening" patch (hence 6GB files to download), so you were only really loading half of Deimos, causing it to show caves and such through the world.

if it has now downloaded everything, then you're good to go.

the last update causes a lot bugs, infinite loadings, necramesch reseted to lvl 0, cant use archwings....🙄
