Grineer Skirmish Void Storms not worth doing

My first void storm was Solo, Lith Grineer Skirmish,
which I highly recommend never doing.

My pilot is rank 5 pilot, rank 5 gunner, (with some other stuff,)
and my gunner is rank 5 gunner, (with some other stuff,)
but they won't shoot the Radiator.

Also, Omni Tool Recall is disabled during void storms,
so you have to leave the Ship-Killer-Platform on foot,
shoot the radiator, reenter the thing, shoot the thing,
open the next thing, leave the place on foot, shoot the 2nd radiator,
re-enter the place, shoot then next thing, and then leave.

By far THE,
MOST,
frustrating experience,
in Warframe,
for me,
since 2014.

All DE needs to do to make this "avoid at all costs" into a, "enjoyable experience"
is make it so Railjack Pilot and Gunners will shoot the radiators.
That is literally the least, smallest thing DE can do to make the mission actually fun...

Oh, and make it so the pilot doesn't go allover the place,
I couldn't hit anything with the Forward Artillery.

Omni tool isn't disabled by void storms, probably it just bugged out. Also you can tell your pilot to do anything else so it will jump off the pilot seat and you can aim the artillery without unexpected movements.

Well, it's the first time I've ever not been able to Recall,
so figured it was the Void's fault.
Why is everything a bug in warframe?

I’ll be honest, this was the very minimum I was expecting from the crew pilot. There seems to be no point in the pilot role.

Not being able to recall isn’t necessarily a bug. It is an actual feature (as in, stated in the VO) of some missions.

 

Do the exterminate void storms, they are the only one that is worthwhile. No timed objectives, no destroying X thing, just kill stuff.
