Weapon Type in Stats

Hello.

I think it would be awesome if the weapon stats in the arsenal included the weapon type, especially for melee weapons—which often end up being unexpected types, and can be confusing for new players when getting into stance mods.

The stances sound so cool, but I keep building the wrong weapons (such as the Obex, which turned out to be something other than fists)

Thanks!

YES.

We have Fists, Claws, and Sparring weapons.

We have Swords, Machetes, Rapiers, and Nikanas.

We have Staves and Polearms.

We have weapons that totally look like but aren't Snipers.

We have Sniper Rifles without discernible scopes.

We have weapons that can shoot like a Shotgun without being one.

We have "staff" weapons that are actually Primaries.

We have "guns" that are actually Melee weapons.

We have a case where the same weapon is used as both a Primary and (dual) Secondary.

We have Heavy Blades in two design flavors that even use different idle stances.

We have "heavy blades" that are actually a completely different category.

We have cases where visually similar weapons may perform in vastly different ways / be of different types / use different ammo.

... just, SO MUCH potential for confusion to (not just) newer players.

DE pls ❤️

BTW, while we're at it, Beam Range would be another nice stat to have, not least when building Kitguns.

That are made from guns. That's good to include that stuffs as well (if weapons can be used to build other weapons).

I guess there are more but probably lots of them are in descriptions. And are they good.

Spinning attacks unleash the Stormpath, a tempest of mayhem that hurls any foes in its way

First it's slide attacks.

Secondly it doesn't only throws enemies but pull them in. It has 2 ways.

Wiki explains it clearly:

Quote
  • Slide attacks trigger Stormpath, creating a 14 meter vortex that pulls in and staggers enemies. A second slide attack shortly after the vortex will launch and suspend nearby enemies in a  Lifted status.
