Junctions mark the change of environment and enemies for new players so… shouldn’t they feel like you accomplished something? Venus Junction: · Furis blueprint Your first automatic pistol. · North Wind (unranked) · Stormbringer (unranked) Some elemental mods... I’m pretty sure you’ll already have those as they’re pretty easy to drop. · Taxon blueprint YOUR FIRST SENTINEL! And a great one. · Clashing Forest (unranked) Your first stance! Make sure to grab the MkI-Bo. · 500 Salvage · 5,000 Credits This early in the game you still don’t have access to Salvage or to a good credit farm. Mercury Junction: · Quest: Once Awake · Quest: Howl of the Kubrow 2 new quests! Those are great reward! · Boltor blueprint A blueprint you can just buy from Market? The reward for defeating the Jackal, fighting 10 waves of defense, doing a rescue mission and hunting 5 eximus enemies is a blueprint you can buy for 15k credits? · Flawed Fast Deflection (unranked) A Flawed useless mod. Not even the normal one would be useful. · Flawed Streamline (unranked) Good mod, but why? Energy economy early in the game is terrible, at least give us a normal Streamline, maybe max ranked. THIS IS A REWARD, YOU SHOULD GET USEFUL STUFF. · 1,000 Salvage A small amount of resource. · 10,000 Credits By the time you reach this junction, you have access to dark sectors (20k credits for 5min survival) so this is just bad. Mars Junction: · Quest: The Archwing New quest, yey! · Incubator Power Core Okay, so. You get “Howl of the Kubrow” in Venus junction but you only get the item to finish the quest at another junction? I’m sure there’s some kind of logic in this… somewhere. Maybe I’ll find the logic in another junction. · Void Relic Segment Why isn’t this part of the Vor’s Prize quest? We got all other segments there… · Lith M4 Relic ONE RELIC. WHAT A GREAT REWARD. · Fragor blueprint Probably your first hammer, but... why can’t we get weapons, not their blueprints? · Iron Phoenix (unranked) Probably the worst sword stance. AND it’s unranked. Would it break the game to give a few crappy ranked mods to newbies? · Quest: Heart of Deimos Your introduction to deimos. · 25 Codex Scanners Why? · 15,000 Credits See Mercury junction about credit rewards. Phobos Junction: · Quest: Stolen Dreams And the good quests begin! · Kraken blueprint I think i’d rather keep using MkI-Lato than this. · Cipher blueprint Okay, so, you can buy this blueprint for 500 credits on Market... and they’re giving it to you as a reward for your efforts. Fighting all your way to phobos. · Fast Hands (unranked) · Thief's Wit (unranked) Would it break the game just give a few crappy RANKED mods to newbies? · 20,000 Credits See Mercury junction about credit rewards. Ceres Junction: · Vulkar blueprint Your first sniper rifle. · Fever Strike (unranked) · Swirling Tiger (unranked) Would it break the game just give a few crappy RANKED mods to newbies? Jupiter Junction · Amphis blueprint Your tasks for this junction are pretty easy to i think it’s okay to give such crappy rewards. · Enhanced Durability (unranked) · Rubedo-Lined Barrel (unranked) · Cutting Edge (unranked) Wow! Archwing mods! The first 2 are pretty nice… the last one… well, wake me up when archmelee is relevant in any content. · 30,000 Credits See Mercury junction about credit rewards. Europa Junction · Quest: The Limbo Theorem · Quest: The New Strange More quests! Hm. Okay, so, about “The Limbo Theorem”: It’s a warframe quest. Okay. It gives you the BLUEPRINT for its pieces. Makes sense, huh? You have to rebuild it… But, think about the player perspective: You just finished the quest, which took some time. Now you wanna enjoy your reward, but NOPE. You gotta wait 12 hours to build each piece. Then you gotta wait another 72 hours to build your frame. THEN you can enjoy your reward… 4 days later. Oh, btw, NOTHING tells you to buy Limbo’s main blueprint from market, as far as I remember. Why isn’t the main blueprint included in the quest? · Cestra blueprint How about you only give us the blueprint for a weapon if we can’t get it otherwise? Anyone could just buy Cestra blueprint and craft it even before finishing this junction. · Physique (unranked) This is a pretty nice aura mod. It’s good to have as reward, otherwise you’d have to buy it with nora credits. · 40,000 Credits See Mercury junction about credit rewards. Saturn Junction · Penta blueprint Yes. This is all you get as reward. For finishing The New Strange, killing Alad V(which isn’t an easy task when you’re newbie) AND finishing most of Europa’s nodes because Baal is really far. DE be like “yeah, just give them anything, nobody cares for rewards.” · 40,000 Credits See Mercury junction about credit rewards. Uranus Junction · Lecta blueprint See Europa junction for weapon blueprint as rewards. · Chroma Neuroptics blueprint Oh, okay, so we got chroma main blueprint from the quest and its pieces are scattered around the starchart… great. Oh, and btw, it’s the BLUEPRINT. So you’ll still have to spend your resources AND more time because chroma’s pieces need pieces of other warframes WHICH YOU ALSO HAVE TO CRAFT. · 60,000 Credits See Mercury junction about credit rewards. Neptune Junction · Quest: The Second Dream WOOOOH! This is probably what hyped you enough to keep playing! One of the best quests in the game! · Gammacor blueprint See Europa junction for weapon blueprint as rewards. · Chroma Chassis blueprint See Uranus junction for chroma pieces. · 80,000 Credits See Mercury junction about credit rewards. Pluto Junction · Drakgoon blueprint See Europa junction for weapon blueprints as rewards. · Chroma Systems blueprint See Uranus junction for chroma pieces. · 80,000 Credits See Mercury junction about credit rewards. Oh and btw, now you have access to The Index. Yes, this much credits is surely a great reward. Sedna Junction · Quest: Hidden Messages See Europa junction – The Limbo Theorem about warframe quests. · Fang blueprint See Europa junction for weapon blueprints as rewards. Yes, THIS FAR in the game and the “Fang” is being given as a reward. · Quest: The War Within YESSSS! Another great quest! · 100,000 Credits See Pluto junction about credit rewards. Eris Junction · Patient Zero blueprint See Europa junction – The Limbo Theorem about warframe quests. · Mire blueprint See Europa junction for weapon blueprints as rewards. · 100,000 Credits See Pluto junction about credit rewards. As we can see, junction rewards are mostly crap. It feels like junctions are there to “lock” content or something in a non-imersive way. I’m not here to only complain, then I’m proposing something too: Instead of locking content behind junctions and… time, how about locking content behind mastery rank? How about reworking mastery rank system so that people would be willing to go above MR16? Give junctions another purpose or just remove them from the game. They serve the same purpose as a "quest window" on the left side of your screen in rpgs. Mastery rank system feels like an excuse to force you to use everything DE designed. Um...did you mean to post incorrect information here? The Boltor blueprint can be bought from the market for 15k credits. A built Boltor can only be bought with 150 platinum from the market.
