BoomyGordo
Neither. The vampire is a vampire and as such is immune to blood born illness. The zombie is a zombie so it just stands there before shambling on while the vampire gags from the rancid blood it just drank

Athros
Let's crack this up; how actually vampire and zombie infection does work through biting? How is their genetic makeup invade the other?Vampire is a photo-sensitive creature that could spread their invasive genetic characteristic through blood, while zombie is a reanimated dying corpse that having a limited active nervous system that spread their infection through biting. Possibly, both are achieved through blood infection with their saliva (vampire drink target's blood, saliva enters blood stream, voila! Vampire! zombie bites target, saliva enters blood stream, wham! Zombie!) The difference here is vampire spread it almost directly to the target's DNA (with no explainable way), while zombie possibly infecting the brain first rather than the body. Back to the quest-chin; since both the infection spread mainly through saliva, and sent via blood stream, it's possible that both (the vampire and the zombie) would be a hybrid, or doesn't even resulted as one, beacuse how's the interaction between DNA patching capabillities of vampire and infectious agent of zombie, and which is the host and which is the infector is need to be researched first. Neither. The vampire is a vampire and as such is immune to blood born illness. The zombie is a zombie so it just stands there before shambling on while the vampire gags from the rancid blood it just drank Zombie infection is not a blood illness, it's just transferring its infectious agent to brain through blood, which is later spread down to the nervous system which starting delayed decay process while maintaining limited nervous response. And before any of you asked; Yes, I'm fun at parties. Edited November 20, 2013 by Athros
