Converting shards - Daily Focus Limit

If I still have 100k daily focus on my limit and convert a shard will my daily limit be reduced or should I first try to acquire as much focus as possible and then convert the shards at the end of the daily cycle (that's what I've been doing just not sure of a shard will count toward the daily limit if daily focus limit is not yet reached)

you can convert as many eidolon shards without effecting daily focus, the cap is not on converting those shards as you can even convert them for millions of focus points.

Daily Focus is for those yellow icons during missions and Zariman content as they are separate from Shards. You could stack 100 Shards and crack them all and your daily focus will still say you have 100k don't worry
