Capture turned Extermination makes it almost impossible to get 10 reactants

As title says 
capture already has a low reactant drop rate and and enemy numbers ( but enough enemies to complete it if no change)
and after i turns extermination then u have ~30 enemies to unlock the relic ( but after change the number of enemies get reduced dramatically)
and lately I've been getting this problem more and more

All the good advice about how to camp and farm reactant aside.

 

The whole situation is a Trap. if someone rushes a capture, they most assuredly won't have been collecting reactant beforehand. Yet that same situation triggers a Change of Plans, to a Mini-Extermination which has reduced spawns and reduced reactant vs natural Extermination. Which makes things even worse.

It's bad game design to leave traps for your players. If DE wants people to play a certain way they should Motivate, not Punish.

while thats a solution , to stop doing something fast as to be able to complete it is not a proper fix

also this happens to other mission types turned to ext, had a mobile defense turned to ext after 2/3 and still did not get enough
