Nightmare Mode Rewards and Rotation

How do these rotations work?

Also, the wiki states the rewards are mods for A B and C. I did 30 minutes of survival and got 6 relics, but only two yellow mods. Shouldn't I have gotten 6 yellow mods? One for each rotation.

You get the mod on completion, so extra rounds don't count. "Rotations" are the tier of the planet

Yeah the definition for rotations is unfortunately fluid.   First of all I think nightmares have specific rounds.   Even if you can go past what they ask for there is no further nightmare rewards.   (Basically nightmares are 2 rounds long).  

I think rotations in terms of nightmare missions are referring to spy and sabotage caches.   How many you open, etc.   I dont know the specifics of nightmare rewards that well lol.

I was hoping this was a thread about getting nightmares revamped a little.   I would just like for nightmares to tell which nightmare mod they will give for completion.   Hammershot is one of the hardest mods to get in game.   It used to come in old school alerts but those went away and now nightmares are the only source.   But i think its hidden behind spy or sabotage or something i have no idea.    It would be nice to look at the list of nightmare missions and be able to see the rewards.

For non-rescue missions, the planet determines the "rotation".
