Exploiter Orb inside Deck 12 tunnel

I thought I would goto Venus to exploit it for resources. After a little bit the usual sounds of enemies started spawning, as I entered the Deck 12 area where the usual boss fight is. I finished mining the area as I leave I hear a loud sound, I know it's just the orb walking around & I thought nothing of it even though it was loud. I never expected seeing it inside the tunnel.
