Could we get a tank frame similar to Riot Guard from Synthetik?

I like playing tanks and was thinking that a shielded gun weapon would be neat. Synthetik is a top down roguelike shooter while Riot Guard is a beefy tank class that plays around HP regen and tanking damage. His passive grants his bonus maximum HP after taking a certain amount of health damage while also granting him temporary stacking HP regen the more he deals or takes damage. His primary ability is an AOE stun but the entertaining part of his kit is that he has a unique starting weapon which is a submachine pistol and riot shield combo. Holding it grants additional damage reduction and dashing with it allows you to damage and stun enemies if you hit them.

Was thinking it'd be cool to have a tank class with an exalted weapon like that. Something like a simplistic gun based soldier archetype that we haven't really gotten since Rhino.

HP regen and tanking damage sounds like Nidus. Build up stacks, use 3 on an enemy, and then use 4. Now you're a massive health tank that regenerates outstandingly fast. You add Arcane Grace to the mix and you've got conditional bonus HP regen when taking damage.

Ho, Synthetik mentioned!

Btw, have you tried S2? They untied his shield from the smg there and made it a separate ability so you can use with any weapon.

It's not just hp regen and taking damage. It's more like hp regen (temporary) + bonus max hp (uncapped iirc) after taking damage. Kinda similar to Timbersaw's passive ('reactive armor' or smth) from dota. Or, imagine if DE made Arcane Grace+Arcane Blessing parts of Nidus' passive. Would that be op? Maybe, but they are already doing the same thing with Dagath (she will have Arcane Energize+Arcane Pulse as a passive).

What you are describing is very similar to our shield-toting necramech friend.

Able to steal hp from enemies

Has aoe cc

Has riot shield that can be used while shooting guns

Bonus has big sword that cleaves through enemies

Nidus is much closer to a caster frame with some meaty properties.

This is a Necramech and not a warframe though.
