just experienced a miracle in a key....

as always I tried to join a key(void fissure). so I don't host. Because I always had a maximum of 3 people and everyone wanted me to burn twice in hell because they had 4000 ping...
but right now!!!!!!!!! I had a full team and no one complained?!

I haven't read the last patch notes. Has netcode been significantly improved?
If so... top performance! Now there is not only high fps for old hardware. now you can even host with causal internet?

 

edit:
After a few runs this seems to be the case. However, the statistics are not complete. 4x windows users can join. but console players not always? Here I will collect more stats data.

Location, location, location is all I can say. You've very likely just had people from further away join in the past resulting in the horrible ping.

So you mean in a fissure? You are not "in a key" (actually you are not even using keys anymore, but even then that would be wrong.)
