Are there secrets after finishing Whispers in the Walls?

After finishing Whispers in the Walls, a phone sound plays at the start of every mission and at the completion of the mission objective. Is this the sign of a secret?

Sometimes the beeps are staggered, sometimes the beeps play as loud soft, is this indicative of a side objective?

I can't say I've noticed any phone sounds myself. But it might be some sort of teaser for 1999. Like how prior to duviri, oroworms would show up when void jumping in raijack, or looking through the void mirror in Isolation vaults.

In the sanctum area where loid and the cavia are situated if you go to the edge of the area and look out over the vast expanse there is a phone laying on the ground. Just listen for the faint ringing sound to locate it. The area is past the 2 large human figures. It dosen't do anything interacting with it but i thought it was a nice little touch.

 

Also look up above the sanctum when you're at the edge and you will see the man in the wall. Also you will see his mouth off in the distance as part of the architecture. Things easily missable. That's one thing DE does well is little secrets.
