So... How Exactly Is The Dual Kama Better Than The Single?

Trade two polarities and a stack of cash and building materials for an extra 5.5% status chance and +25 charge damage? Is that it? Is the reach better at least? Didn't the original Kama hit multiple targets?

I built it and I'll be leveling it up in the next few days. Will see if it's worthwhile.

Satus incrase from 2% to 7.5% is quiet a big jump, as is an increase of 25 on charge damage if the one on the single Kama is only 75. None of the dual melee weapons are super-powerful versions of the single ones. It comes with a drawback though, like you mentioned, it only hits multiple enemies on charge attacks anymore.

it´s added cause,it´s strong against infested, some people like it AND DE needs something about 700 weapons and 30 warframe to make mastery rank 30 possible

Well the only thing the polarities is a problem since the wiki said it doesn't have any polarities, but anyways dual's always better than single how bout it?

 

i mean it's fun more than single weapons at times if you look at it clearly.

It could use a slight buff, or at least some polarity slots. It takes time and cost to construct them, yet no real benefit. :/

What's the slide damage on the single Kama? The Dual Kama has a base slide damage of 150 (50 damage more than the charge attack)

well, if that is true, then the Dual kama does twice the slide damage with no speed drawback. (Hell, i'm thinking of simply building my DKamas to slide around xD)

They can indeed Kamacopter (it's a tad finicky and the distance is slightly less than the zorens, but you can), and yes you can knockdown on grandslam (but it's about only 1 meter radius.)

Nothing can compare to Zorens (1.8 atk speed) when it comes down to coptering :)

 

Even if 1.3 base atk speed is not bad at all, i'll give Dual Kama a try too... because of their look, if animations and style satisfy me i could even potato them, else i'm going to take back from dust the Gram, i love its new skin

Do they have a unique attack animations....? The cool thing about the Kama is, after all, that it uses the Machete animations.

It uses the same animations as the Zorens and Cleavers.
