Every time there's a POE sortie objective wp that makes so sense whatsoever, look for a cave entrance. So for me, after the drone escort, my second objective was killing 35 enemies in the cavern that's just to the south of Hillside Ruin. And yeah, the wp was screwy. Though I don't recall exactly how: I just know that when I see one that's too far away for the map, to head in the general direction and look for a cave entrance on the way. You'd find it if you were following the marker and not just staring at the highlighted area on the map. The cave entrance at the bottom right corner, below "Hillside Ruin".
