I need an advice with clan emblem...

Hello guys, I would really like to obtain a clan emblem, the dilema is that I would like to put an image of 1914 German military decoration "iron cross". Well I know that some really bad people made hard controversy around this emblem in the past. But it was estabilished back in the kingdom of Prussia, and is still used in modern Bundeswehr. As far as I know country flags and crests are allowed, but political symbols are not permitted. Well, iron cross is a military symbol, which was misused to support political propaganda. Will it be okay if I use the 1914 design or should I use the modernized design by Bundeswehr?

Probably not an issue. Just avoid too much associated colours or other imagery that could be suggestive.
