PSA: Steam Account Bind Inbox Spam Bug (Resolved)

Hey Tenno!

 

We're investigating an issue that has caused some players to get items they purchased before Koumei & the Five Fates launched twice after the update launched. This only impacts items that were purchased before Koumei & the Five Fates launched, new purchases made on a bound account after Koumei are unaffected. 

While we investigate for a fix, we’ve temporarily paused items that were purchased before Koumei from being sent. Once we have found a solution, we will ensure those items are properly delivered! This does not impact your ability to bind accounts.

We will update this thread to let you know when the items have been sent.

UPDATE: After further investigation we have found that thankfully this was just an error with inboxes being sent twice, not the items! To explain, it appeared as though a second set of items were being sent because players were receiving a second inbox message informing them of their previous purchase. This was simply an error with the inbox sender that we will be fixing in the near future. 

Oct 10th Update: 
We just deployed a hotfix to fix the inbox spam issue - thank you!
