Personal feedback on 1999 Demo

Just want to give my opinion (maybe most of this stuff was already posted, but whatever it's a personal feedback), also sorry if my english is bad (it's also very late and i need to sleep)

First of all the Demo was nice but i hadseveral performace's issues, my pc is a potato but still can run all the Warframe content pretty well at 1080p. 1999 wasnt so smooth, it reminded me of Duviri at launch, pretty heavy on my fps with some stutters and low fps.

About the gameplay:

1) Level/Tileset: The new area looks really good and it's fun to explore, but it's pretty limited in terms of interactions, except for some things that i found (vehicles/barrel explosions, some wires to hang on) on foot and with the Atomicycle. Another thing it's the verticality.. with this settings the inability to climb all buildings it's a great limiting factor, i get it that on a building you could camper and sniper everything in the street, but maybe it's possible to avoid this with more specialized enemies, for example: Snipers on higher ground, Drones that explore the skies and so on.

-a very cool thing would be adding some explorable buildings.. even with the Atomicycle.

2) IA/Enemies: nothing exceptional, just fun to shoot. Honestly i saw limited IA for this type of enemies.. i know that Warframe now is a horde shooter but with this new approach more "slow" would be great to have some tactics on the other barricade. Ex. Enemies with shield that stay in front and create a wall to protect other behind, or maybe let them create some diversion to turn and hit you from behind.

Also Eximus units looking the same as in our timeline feel strange to me, honestly would be nice a more appropriate adaptation.. give them the same "overguard" but with another name and effect, maybe "heavy armor for elite soldier" and those units (beside the special effect that remain the same) could have something particular, for ex. Arson could have a heavy flamer etc.

3) Protoframe/Arthur: it's basically a warframe with some new animation and voice line. I'm ok with that but for the sake of the setting modify something for example instead of the Parazon finisher, give Arthur a combat knife or just let him finishing enemies with his Skana, the Parazon to me feel a bit off with the setting (even if the Parazon is something that is part of a warframe.. they are not a fully transformed)

4) Atomicycle: it's really weird to use, the entire area isnt also really great to roam around with it. My personal problem with it is the the maneuverability, in terms of speed is ok, the enviroment is too janky to navigate, for ex. let me pass through those poles at the streets border without crashing into.

There's a spot in one of the early encounters where there's a shield guy and some other units around, Jaegers I think are what they're called? And they did seem to stack up behind the shield guy. But this might have just been the way that area is laid out causing the enemies to just happen to stand behind one another.

That's has been in the game for quite a long time. Some grineers stay behind the Shield Lancer and some Corpus shield themselves inside the nullifier bubble.

Again this may not be the right place to put this feedback but since the post is an opinion piece, it seems appropriate, so here goes.

The atmosphere was perfect. As a person who was not only alive but an adult in 1999 I can say that this place really does feel like a european/mediteranean town 'after the party' in the small hours of the morning. I would be interested to know their inspiration for the location even if they only whisper it to me! (I have memories of falling out of Greek or Spanish nightclubs in the real world to just this kind of slightly eerie empty place full of the detritous of humanities inability to tidy up after themselves when blind drunk.) There is something not quite right about the lighting and I strongly suggest the team revisit that. I would like to have seen more barricades and civilians rather than the big construction site dust covers blocking areas we couldn't go. Even if it was only a few worse for wear, vomiting in the gutter, passed out people. The place needs to feel alive and believe me when I say that even with a curfew people do find a way to go out and party just as we did during Covid. A fewe doors slamming and lights turning off during firefights and curtains  twitching would have made it believable. Humanity is not (to my knowledge) dead in this timeline just under threat of beoming infested. While escort misions are nobodies favourite thing - (judging from the comments I read during defection missions) I think we have to look at the possibility of those in the new game play and as possible helpers and facilitators for the team in Hollvania Mall. I mean how else are they surviving there?

Driving the atomicycle is kind of like using Gauss or Volt - you do crash a lot! But lucky for us neither the bike nor Arthur seem to take collision damage. I actually have no gripes about the controls which feel intuative and were in the places I expected of Warframe - not like a driving game where I suddenly had to learn where it all was and which I suck at in any case. My only complaint is that  we need to be able to shoot the secondary while riding it. The team have done a good job of nailing the 'action movie' tropes everywhere else but  I really need to feel like mel Gibson in the Lethal Weapon moviews and able to shoot my glock over the steering veins/handlebars of the bike. It  also doesn't fite with our other vehicals not to be able to do this we can shoot secondaries from both k drives and the Duviri kaithe.

And while we are on the subject of guns the secondary is pretty terrible and lacks punch. Come on guys! The lazer should just be for sights do not turn it into a poor man's gammacor! It simply must be a project based handgun  since we have a a knock off AK47 primary.

Than you for the sword skin - its a nice touch to keep us anticipating the new content - but I would really have  just prefered a longer demmo and more ability to explore and that tank fight you showed at Tennocon 2024. aside from that, keep up the good work, consider my points and deliver the expansion for Christmas or New Year's Eve and I'll be happy. I came here in 2017 and only missed two weeks due to a computer malfunction in all that time. I'm looking forward to the next  five years.
