Elestor
Scenario: "You have been caught Tenno !" Shackled by your capturer and without a weapon your fate is all but settled. Your only chance for survival ... is escaping before the transport vessel gets you deeper in to the enemy space where we cannot reach you. Description: You start the mission with : - Half starting health , and 0 shields that begin to charge. - Default lvl of powers - No primary weapon - No secondary weapon - No melee weapon - No items - No help from Lotus (only static) Mission has 2 individual starting modes. 1. You are walking on the ships corridor ,escorted by guards & still cuffed . You can stealth kill 1 (of 2 gards in front , total 4 guards with the ones in the back). As you kill him you can recieve his weapon (1) .with which you have to make you way . (Guards give you a weapon type at random. with Random stats , ex : 1 primary or 1 secondary or 1 melee) ONLY the first guard you kill will give you a weapon type with limited ammo, the rest will not. 2. You are walking on the ships corridor ,escorted by guards & still cuffed. A pod hits the side of the wall revieling an opposite faction. The guards get taken out and you manage to get a weapon from them (1). Others will not give weapons. You are now forced to make your way and escape the 2 factions that not only battle each other but you as well. Mission gameplay - Durring the mission you will have limited ammo and enemies that have reduced awareness in some places so you can stealth kill . - While making your way through the mission you will find a terminal to contact the Lotus and iform her of your location . You will then receive a "message"(with static) form the Lotus advising you that there is a weapons cache of experimental weapons on board to help your escape. Making your way there will give you an option to choose from 1 of 3 new weapon designs . Primary , secondary , melee. to complement your already existing weapon that you got at the beginning. (you are not allowed to have 2 of the same type) At the end of the mission you will receive a message from Lotus who is happy that she finnially managed to contact you . It turns out that the one that sent the "message"(with static) was Alad V / Ruk (corpus or grineer equivalent) Rewards : - Random mod - common - New experimental weapon blueperint - Rare - New experimental weapon parts - Rare Notes : - new mission type, that gives you a new challange and new weapons - you get to try out and use the weapons wich helps you get a feel and to know what you buy or make. - this can also give DE a new way to put in new weapons , than the classic market , ofc platinum version can still be found there. - this will aslo give DE a place where they can balance weapons based on player feedback while "usinging it in the mission" - also your kinda f*cked if you meet the stalker or the harvester :) (depends on the weapon) Edited January 20, 2014 by Elestor
EDeN153
Love the idea. I love it so much I gave you the gift of a +1, take it and enjoy it.
Imaru
That idea is already in the game kind of. If you get killed by the Harvester you are transported to a corpus gas city and you have to find your weapons and powers before you can leave. Granted you have help from the Lotus, but the same general idea.
OptimumBow0
Make it happen, DE! OK, I know that's not funny since you're working on U12, but please consider this in the future. Edit: Imaru, you got proof?! Edited January 20, 2014 by OptimumBow0
Vargras
Escape actually exists within the game now. If you lose to Harvester, you have to escape Themisto.

Imaru
Imaru12 , really ? Warframe wiki dosent say that From the Harvester Wiki page: When captured by the Harvester, one's frame and weapons will be stolen and locked out of use until one undergoes a Recovery mission, where you escape a jail in the Corpus Gas City while collecting your powers and weapons. [2] This has been confirmed working (when captured in Solo missions) as of Hotfix 11.7.3.[3]http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Harvester
Haldos
I completely endorse this idea of starting in a "Captured" state and having to fight your way out. The fact that this kind of experience is currently locked behind the Harvesters RNG spawn rate is it's only downside and I would love to see it more readily available. Any kind of new situation like this would be greatly appreciated.
Elestor
Thanks Imaru12 . I didint see the notes of Hotfix 11.7.3. Only met harverster once so far and didint get to die .... Its news to me .....actually didint know that could happen. :\ .... now that really bundles my polymer. Edited January 20, 2014 by Elestor
Svati
Considering how difficult it is to spawn the harvester (at least from what I read, never seen it myself), this would be fun at a higher frequency. Maybe at random (15-20%) upon loosing missions for example. Great idea, I like it! Sounds a bit like a lot of animation/LD work though.
Imaru
Another question: How would you cause this mission type to happen? It would clearly not be a mission on the starmap, as I can't imagine that a Tenno would deliberately put themselves in that dangerous a position, so would it be a result of failing a mission? Haldos
Another question: How would you cause this mission type to happen? It would clearly not be a mission on the starmap, as I can't imagine that a Tenno would deliberately put themselves in that dangerous a position, so would it be a result of failing a mission? A very good point and a fair suggestion. Having it occur from failing a mission, or at the very least, dieing (No revives left) would fit the bill However, what say you to an "Under cover" scenario? I can't quite think of a reasonable reason for a Tenno to willingly be captured that is already being done through the normal, violent means, but I have to say I think the idea of mock surrendering to infiltrate an enemy base has some potential. Elestor
I originally thought of it for the star map , under the pretext that your Liset is captured (the ship that takes you away after you finish the mission. This way the node can be connected anywhere, but i consider that it would be better if it was connected to a mission that weakens you, like survival for example. It would be stupid if the grineer or corpus didn't try to intercept our means of escape no ? also Infiltrating an enemy via surrender . Would be interesting indeed , but wouldent it be to complicated ? - Haldos Edited January 20, 2014 by Elestor

Acegikmo
I'd like to see this happen randomly on any mission type( except defense and survival). You're tasked with exterminating the Corpus aboard their ship and have almost finished by the looks of things. You make your way towards the exit after the last foe falls. From nowhere, sirens deafen( probably garbled that word) you and Corpus come out of the woodwork. The whole thing was a trap. Now you have a limited amount of time to shoot and parkour your way to freedom before the ship out is forced to retreat or become fragments in space, leaving you to the fates. Wouldn't that just be an "oh damn" moment when you think the mission is over? Edited February 13, 2014 by Acegikmo
0zryel
This is awsome! If they add other ramdom encounters like the STALKER or the HARVERSTER and get killed it could activate this mission or something on does lines... :P
Elestor
@Acegikmo : " oh damn " would be the least said O_o. @Ngeluz : Would be cool as a random mission imo..... not just stalker / harvester related, so it can pop up more often. You THINK you start a tipical mission ...but DE say NOPE :P
