Why Use Grinlok?

I use the grinlok more than marelok, I have 3 formas on it now, I found a bit dull if you build it without any crit. but with full crit and full status, it's pretty good fun.

 

If it gets buffed I'll be even happier

Both Grinlok and Marelok are really fun guns.  Sure, Grinlok could use more damage, but the fun factor is the reason I use it.  There's some glorious irony in a Space Ninja using a lever action rifle.  The lever action rhythm means it is a gun that actually lets you pace yourself.  At the same time, it kinda sucks that I can't bring it to void missions because the damage for fire rate is just a tad low for that level 40 defense.

If you a player who is happy to play with a rifle that is still massively powerful for regular content, the grinlock is a great rifle.

If you are a player who has a seizure at the mere thought of playing the game without the absolutely most powerful weapons equipped at all times regardless of what you are doing, then I can see why you wouldn't like it.

I love my grinlock. Seems as if it should be a lot longer of a weapon considering. Put some high ranking status chance mods, Punch Through, with Gas proc and you can stay in Survival for days.
