They walked hands intertwined to the cafeteria, without event. Attakai inwardly hopes that nothing bad will happen when he has a word with Desolas, be everyone knows that is impossible on its own.

 

They reach the cafeteria and spot Desolas standing with his escort. Desolas removes his helmet revealing pale skin, sliver hair and silver eyes. "Attakai, you're the Ambassador?"

 

Attakai removes his helmet and keeps a straight face, "Of course I am, the Grand Master picked me, as I can actually keep a level head, unlike some people." Desolas' face darkens 'Oh you're going to pay for that you brat.' He looks over at the woman dressed in a Red Veil outfit.

 

He asks Sam, "And who might you be?"

He asks Sam, "And who might you be?"

"I'm Samantha Church, Red Veil. Also the girl you shouted at after you got kicked out and I'm Attakai's Girlfriend" Replied Sam to Desolas

While the three were chatting, Shinkiro would walk by, holding a tray with a bowl of ramen and a cup of milk.

The Saryn who was standing behind the counter next to her fellow chef, the Volt, couldn't help but overhear the conversation. She found it rather distasteful how Desolas was acting, especially towards another visitor. One that, if she was not mistaken, the church had taken in temporarily to give her some respite from being hunted by the Corpus and Grineer. "You know, you shouldn't talk to people like that, especially to a lady. Didn't your parents ever teach you manners?"

Attakai unholsters his mother's Lex, with the engravings 'Mama' etched on to it, pointing the gun to his head, "I would advice if you would behave yourself Captain, it is unbefitting of the Rising Sun, now as an ambassador here, I outrank you. Now.... Captain, I am ordering you to go back to your ship, and wait for further orders...... NOW." saying that last word with an almost demonic voice. Looking at Desolas' escorts, "You two, stay here." the Volt and Avalon Excalibur could only nod dumbly.

 

Desolas just gets even angrier, his eyes like a psycopath, veins on his forehead, his teeth gritting, "Yes..... sir." He walks out of the cafeteria fuming at the humiliation that was brought upon him. 'This is isn't over you brat! Once the title of Grand Master is mine, you will be kissing my &#!!'

"If your thirst for revenge burns you so strongly, then I can use you. Your old friends won't see you again in this life, but if you're set on meeting them in the next, who am I to stand in your way?"

Once they were in the hallway, she stopped in front of him, jabbing her finger into his chest. "Do whatever pleases you for the little spat between you, but don't you dare forget, this is about more than your revenge or your history. My Church hangs in the balance here, you will submit to the judgement of my Acolytes. Clear? Good. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have something that requires my immediate attention."

 

A waypoint to Engineering's elevator appeared on Cyril's HUD as Cardina took off down the hallway in the opposite direction.

 

"Divinities," Cardina raised a private comm to Mortos and Gaia, "We need to convene the Church to discuss strategy for the coming Corpus assault, as soon as possible. I'll meet you in the Garden, and afterwards we can bring in the Acolytes to brief them." 

 

Soon, the Garden's doors opened to admit Cardina. Immediately upon entering, she noticed a few flaws and growths that would need fixing, and it took all of her focus to not reach for the nearest pair of shears and correct them. Temperance, she couldn't help herself, approaching a branch to pluck a stray leaf. Cyril- the real one- is on his way to the Engineering elevator to join the ambush. Keep an eye on him, him and Synder have a past.

As Synder was reaching their level Jinx felt his presence and mind and recognised it immediately. She could feel the adrenaline surging and her entire body getting ready to fight. "It's him, he's here"

 

"You sure? We can't afford any mistakes now" Arthur asked

 

"Oh I'm certain it's him. I can feel him. Get ready!"

 

Jinx and Arthur drew their Dreads and stood ready. We are hunters. We never let out prey escape.
