Sphirical
So does spare parts actually increase the drop chance of items and mods? For some reason this has been tested by players and confirmed that it does increase the drop rate. > http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Spare_Parts Can DE confirm this? Toaman1994
I want to say the usual "only affects the sentinal dropping an item", but the ambiguous wording on the actual mod combined with this research makes me confused...
Regar
wiki can be edited by a lot of people... i don't really know if this is the best prank ever, or a real information
Shreiko
The wording on spare parts is messed up. Before I think it used to say upon the sentinels death it would have a chance to drop something rare. The fact that it got changed leads me to believe that it should increase drop rates, will need confirmation from DE though
Pizzarugi
Or, you know, do the most logical thing and test to find out yourself rather than hope DE sees this.
S7ORM
Or, you know, do the most logical thing and test to find out yourself rather than hope DE sees this. But how do you test RNG? Even if you come up with some sort of data after 10+ hours of recording data, it's still random data. You can't just assume a trend exists. DE doesn't/can't respond to every topic. :P Edited April 19, 2014 by Pizzarugi

Statistical analyses tease out meaningful patterns even where is a significant amount of noise. Meaningful patterns over a large data sample, 10 hours of play time from a single person probably wouldn't be considered as such. I've just been using it anyways. You can easily fit on a sentinel and still have pretty much everything you need for it to function well. Edited April 23, 2014 by Aggh
Methanoid
it makes your sentinel drop items/resources when it dies (and not much), unless you plan on having a sentinel blow up a-lot for some strange reason its useless.
