Halser
Yeah, since they removed ability mods from the transmute pool they thought they needed to compensate that by making it an 80% chance for you to get kicked in the balls and receive a random common mod. Really? It's only 80%? Hot damn I got like 300 ammo drums and 1.5mil credits I can burn through!
Beas7ie
Try 4 Ammo Drums now. I'll do it once I have 12 spare rares to transmute into ammo drums.

Aggh
Rush up some nightmare mods, I've had better luck with them. Corpus ship nightmare capture/sabotage is the fastest, especially with loki. 35k isn't really all the much now that we can grind out high level dark sectors for credits. Kibarussell
I rarely get a good mod from transmutation.
Valiant
All my stance transmutations had at least 1 reflex guard involved. First time I tried for a stance I got Flailing Forest which I was chuffed with.

Ishki88
I transmute 4 rares, pay the highway robbery 35k credits and I get... Drumroll please! Dumdumdudmudmudmdumdumdudmumdumdumdudmudmd AMMO DRUM! Thanks DE What people DID NOT tell you. If you try to transmute any rare mods that are acquired from low level survival missions (Reflex Guard for example) you have a high chance of getting crap. Call it RNG I don't really care. But when I tend to transmute the REALLY rare mods and the Warframe Rare mods I get a rare (good) mod 90% of the time. You are talking to someone who transmuted 8 Rare Stance mods day one of U13.......oh and that was in a row
MrJxt
yeah, I'd say avoid the transmutation just in general gotta spend those credits somehow =| Edited April 27, 2014 by MrJxt
Alazais
Every couple of months I say to myself, I'll try out transmutation again, it can't be that bad right? couple of hundred thousand credits later I'm sitting in a pile of ammo drums wondering what I did wrong in a previous lifetime. yuio678
dude, I've been there too and wasted countless of credits and rares. But eventually the merciless Goddess of RNG may notice after condemning you to a hellish place filled with Ammo Drums, she may glance upon your eternal crying. Your tears may remind her that your struggles are real and may take pity on you just once in a while for all the hard work you have done. And so like a random gift falling into your lap, I unknowingly transmuted 4 Frost Snow Globes not caring about its outcome because I did not care to obsess over my past failures anymore, and I was granted a Gleaming Talon...:) Honestly transmutation isn't entirely bad as long as you treat it like if you were going to the casino: just have fun with the thrill of potentially striking gold, but drop it and leave it alone as soon as you start getting a bad streak. Scarab14
Yesterday, I made about 10 transmutations. 1 rare Stance, 2 Glaive mods, 1 reflex guard and some crap. So, it IS possible but ... meh. Edited April 27, 2014 by Scarab14
Something_Smart
I transmuted 4 ammo drums and got Tranquil Cleave. RNG at its best right there. Did I mention I don't have a nikana?
(PSN)fingernageldreck
I think transmutation was never meant to be the easy access to rare mods. More like a gamble if you swim in credits and cant find a way to spend it atm.

H.Katsura_999
Use Warframe Ultimate mods like stomp, tornado, M prime, etc. Don't use other warframe ability mods because they will seriously F*ck up your transmutation. Remember it's still RNG and it doesn't guarantee a stance mode every time you do it but it does allow you to score sometimes. It you're out of rares put in a reflex guard as a band aid though using warframe ultimate mods are strongly advisable. Had to have one RG so I did and it worked. It's very very odd.
