This Is Not Okay.

I didn't exactly know if where to post this, so I'm just gonna put it here.

So who exactly at Digital Extremes looked at the Two-Handed melee stance (not the stance mods) and thought this was okay? Honestly, I had to sell my Galatine because you're holding a giant sword straight in the air. Melee 2.0 brought some nice things, but you made new idle animations for every other melee weapon, so why aren't we holding heavy weapons in two hands like we should be? I don't care how viable a weapon is, you shouldn't look like you're carrying a flag pole when you're using the Galatine or Jat Kittag.

First... Animation is hard. like... really hard. The animations are okay, and what the hell, because one animation looks kind of weird you dislike it entirely?
And second, well, without Cleaving Whirlwind, Galatine is kinda useless compared to the old one, so i guess selling it's the obvious thing to do.

I think we should hold it like Siegfried does in SC. I couldn't really find an image of the stance, but here's something to go off of.

While that is quite a nice pose, i don't think it's what i would call "idle". It seems like the guy is in combat stance, facing an enemy. If you had to hold your weapon like that all the time, your arms might tire out before even finding someone to stick with the pointy end . Then again, maybe not a problem for orokin-powerded space ninjas with insane super-strong muscles that can fire rocket launchers without flinching (but almost hit their own faces when they fire aklex...)
