"- You can attack the three hives in any order. Work individually and attempt to destroy them all at once or work with your fellow Tenno to take them out one at a time."

The rather large amount of co-op doors prevent anything less than a full group of Tenno from splitting up and destroying hives individually. Unless they unlock each door first, but that's pointless if you are already in a group when you run past a hive.

Easiest fix is to remove co-op doors from the mission, exactly like lock-downs were removed from invasions. Allowing players to use this method is running the mission.

Thoughts?

or u could, ya know, work in pairs

cuz like that wouldn't make any sense now would it?

Working in pairs would work and make sense yes, if you're rolling with a 4-Tenno squad. But then comes into play of the people running as 2-Tenno groups or 3.

Its an option to divide and conquer, as stated in the update notes. We don't necessarily have the ability to have that option.

"anything less than a full group of Tenno"

4 can split into two groups fine. Heck it could split into a group of 1, 1, and 2 and all but the group of 2 would be screwed.

3 can have two go off in one direction and the other guy who split off is screwed if there is a co-op door.

2 can split up and immediately be screwed up because both will inevitably reach a co-op door.

Please elaborate on how allowing more variety in the way you play missions doesn't make sense?
