It saddens me to know that some unique and really fun weapons are simply not viable in end-game.

Try the dual ichor. When modded properly it is very OP.

Penta, Soma, Boltor Prime are all great for end game, Although the Soma ends up being a ammo hog at really high levels

Seconded. Built Viral with at least one status mod. The innate silence of the weapon can be handy when playing Loki or paired with an Excal.

 

True high level is more about team comp and scaling ability abuse, weapons are more to finish off stragglers, so anything powerful will work. 

 

Penta falls off HARD against single targets, and Synapse/Amprex and Boltor Prime have damage types that scale very well against enemies with armor... but fall off quite a bit against unarmored flesh. Or at least lose some of their overwhelming advantage compared to other weapons when factoring in Ferrite resistances.

Highest DPS Secondary is Brakk. Gotta be close up to use it though. Otherwise, Marelok, Detron, or Despair. Others can work too, such as the Akbolto, but those are the ones generally used.

 

Soma and Boltor Prime will be your generic end-game rifles. I would not suggest using Penta or Ogris as of now due to the upcoming nerf to the ammo capacity. Amprex works well, and Quanta might be viable for end game as well (still needs further testing). Paris Prime/Dread are viable too, but you must land those head shots once you reach the higher levels. Vectis might work in the future, with the upcoming buff, but you will still need Primed Chamber for it to do well against lv.100+s.

 

As for melee weapons, the 3 biggest ones are Dakra Prime (w/ C.D.), Dual Ichor, and Dragon Nikana, but there are others that can do just as good, such as the Bo Prime.

For secondary i need to say why you dont put a Lex Prime full modded, 1 shot everything in the game. Kunai is a really powerfull option too for secondaries

Marelok hits considerably harder than Lex Prime, especially if you don't bother for headshots. They're fairly competitve, actually, with Lex Prime losing damage for better accuracy, making it the better sniper pistol - but at midrange Marelok will outperform it.

 

Brakk however hits about as hard with 2.5x the fire rate, so ~2.5x the DPS. Problem is you gotta get really up close to use it as damage falloff is rather drastic.

 

IMO that makes Marelok the 'all around' better weapon.

 

Still voting Dread tho. Picking off individuals becomes more important than crowds as you get to extreme levels and Dread's pulling ~20k per shot compared to Marelok's 6k, more than 3x more damage; around 6x more when you make headshots. Marelock can be built with a decent (~75% chance) to Viral proc tho, which helps a lot.

1) Marelok deals more dmg. Lex Prime is just easier to use when aiming for headshots due to the higher accuracy.

1) The reach isn't great, but it has the highest dmg and DPS of any melee weapon IF using the Crimson Dervish mod. This applies when having the melee out only though, but it's an amazing weapon when you actually use the combos. 

2) Bo Prime > Orthos Prime if you are looking for a long-reach melee weapon w/ good dps.

the list above are gathered on few premisis.

for example if ur going 4xCP then taking amprex is bad ur better of with dread since with 4xCP all armor turn to flesh and dread deals 25% extra dmg to flesh.

soma is not ammo effecient,

lanka is hard to use if ur not careful or trained.

magnus is rly good in every aspect but its not the best in 1.

reaper looks cool.

serro is used for lfestrike build where as u use it with channel and do 1 hit to restore ur health.

amphis is good for coptering after all melee weapons arenot just used for dmg specially at high lvls (unless ur specialized like loki or valkyr) otherwise if im going volt for example ill use my serro just to heal

Paris Prime. With pretty much every other weapon, even the Boltor Prime, you'll end up running out of ammo with all of the health enemies have at level 100+, and Paris Prime is one of the few weapons that can get those insane damage numbers.

Amprex can kill lvl 100 enemie in void just fine just aim to the head when u hold the trigger ( hard to miss with this gun anyway )

 

use rifle scavenger aura for the ammo
