Cry baby , cry me a river you are bringing anothers Nerf with those kind of thread which is getting boring because some slow poke can't follow up , Simple question answer it , one was at exit , but a squad is 4 Guys , where was the two others?

Also deal with it , if you don't like rush , invite people you play with or share the same game play as your

God forbid someone has a playstyle you don't personally enjoy. And because you don't enjoy it, you want things to be made so other people (yes, other people exist, oh my lord) can't enjoy it.

This is why I've always thought all the excessive nerfing, the complaints about rushers and coptering, and the suggestions we make anything even more than the current "friendship" door is ridiculous.

You're not the only one who plays the game. Deal with it. Other people with other interests exist.

How often do you see rushers complain about people who play slow and propose things that make playing slowly unviable, say putting a time limit on every single non-endless mission? If they have the courtesy to respect your playstyle, it should only be fair you respect theirs, correct?

I can see it now, the new votekick feature gets implemented, three rushers reach the exit and host proposes a votekick on the straggler.

Host: Kick him, he's AFK.

Straggler: I'm not AFK You guys just ran ahead of me!

Host: Well he's nowhere near the exit, kick him anyway.

Straggler: :((((((((((

This guy deserve it , it's because of people like him we got news update to slow us down :

"friend ship door"

Light bulb that was one shoot killing anything  changed into door that take away your energy

You see , theire 4 players in a squad , this guys complain because someone is to fast , but that dude can complain to because the rest of his team (or maybe only him) was to slow , it's not like he had 1 minute to go extract , And event if he does not , he will be auto extract'ed and keep reward

People rush through missions for reason:

If it is a boss mission: People are either farming for warframe parts, rare resources or a death mark. There is like no reason to kill every mob since it doesn't net you anything valuable (Rare mods from regular enemies, just do a defense or survival mission...)

Capture, rescue, spy and deception missions: People are just trying to get them done to unlock other missions or doing an alert. There is no benefits for killing everything you see on sight.

Exterminate: Well yeah..It's a mission to kill everything and finish. If people can kill fast, they will kill fast. Not wait for the random person who brought a brand new weapon and wants to test it out by dropping a whole clip to kill 1 enemy.

Hive: Yeah you kind of want to rush these missions can the ridiculously high endless spawning is a pain in the arse.

Other modes: Too lazy to mention.

do you think there should be a different match up the computer uses for finding squads for (team players) and (RUNNERS)

There is already a mechanism for this.  It's called solo mode.  I don't know why so many people simply do not use solo mode when they are obviously playing with a solo mindset.  Go do missions by yourself, nobody will ever complain about your going too fast for rest of the team to keep up.  Instead, they seem to think that everybody should adapt to them instead, completely missing the entire concept of "team" and "public matchmaking".

Game already has the features we need.  What we need is to figure out why people refuse to use them.

If it was possible to rank up everything in solo mode, I would gladly take it. Totally don't enjoy see a Banshee in a defense mission when I'm trying to rank up stuff just come in and spam Sound Quake non-stop with maximum range, making even looting resources a pain in the arse afterwards. Unfortunately everyone is stuck with one of those at some point.

I'm still suprised that the guy that get left behind always think that the others are the problem.

If you are the only one left behind do you seriously think that it's the fault of the ''rushers''?

Stop looking at the rainbows and start using the sprint key once in a while.

ive been asking for the option to select mission requirements for grouping.

This is worst when it happens with new players. All the new fancy tutorials are not going to help if other players are messing it up for everyone else.

Well, old rank players can't even join those tutorial missions or the new beginner vor missions. Not like there is a reason to since the broken mods do no good for older players.

Would be good if you could choose a style of play while selecting a match in order to be paired up with others looking for the same thing, as honestly sprinting through maps and such is part of the fun for me. I like the fast paced feeling that comes with sprinting/parkouring/coptering through corridors and such and getting to the finish as fast as I can but I'm not looking to ruin anyone else's fun for the sake of mine either.

Agreed. Taking advantage of all the movement options and completing a mission at top speed is what I find to be most enjoyable, would be nice If there was an in-game option to find similar minded people.

Phantasy Star Online 2 has options for serious play, casual play, etc. when you're selecting a quest. I think it'd work well in WF.

There is a difference between a steady mission pace that everybody should be meeting, versus the gratuitously team-hating "gotta go fast" crowd.  If a player is searching every single nook and cranny for containers to loot, that is too slow. But when you see a Volt or a Loki whip out their dual zorens and disappear into the distance and you never see them again except at mission extraction, that is too fast.  That is the problem being discussed.  If you sign up for a team game, then play as a team; pay attention to what other people are doing.  If you don't want to care about other people, then play Solo. It's that easy.

Again, what we need to figure out is why people don't use the perfectly good features which are already available to them.

Ya know, the EE.log records the IP address of other players. You could just take their IP and add it to your firewall creating your own personal blacklist.  I didn't figure this out until several mods mentioned they do it when in the few extreme cases where they run into a mega troll or egoist.

And if you want to be babysitted don't join PUG. The players are rushing because there is literally no reason to not do it. Why would they want to slow down?

To look at the same skybox for the 10th time?Or to open that locker that will give you the amazing sum of 10 credits? I just don't understand why someone would want to slow down and hinder the group. In a game like Warframe where everything is related to farming and grinding, the fast way to do things is always the best one (Sadly for our slow Tenno cousins)

I kind of feel bad for you. :(   I play because I enjoy playing. That might be the real difference here....

I don't see why you feel bad for me, because i seriously enjoy the game but enjoying the game doesn't make me blind either. The game is heavily based on farming and grinding no matter how you look at it. Fun is there just like grinding.

If people enjoy the game by rushing, then let them rush, don't try to reduce their enjoyment.

We would need a actual stealth system for that.

This. I would gladly very slowly do. I took the time to do Legend, Pacifist and Foxiest one of Hounds all in 1 run in Deus Ex cause there was an actual stealth aspect (Somehow I failed the foxiest achievement ;;). The stealth aspect of this game is a bit broken tho cause your back stealth attacks would sometimes not trigger, causes you to auto fail the stealth by normal attacking instead. And enemies for whatever reason have to be in the exact same level as you (platform wise, they can't be 1 step down a stairs) otherwise your stealth attack also messes up.

We need real stealth missions where you have to sneak, wall run and hide. If you get caught mission failed type of stuff.

My experience with new Rescue missions tells me that this won't work. I've taken a Loki with a bow into rescue missions, and when we get to the wardens I say "Let me stealth this". And nobody listens. I guess it's not fast enough to let a specialist do the special part of the mission? That's only a soft failure mode, it would be worse if it were a hard failure mode.

Plus the stealth mechanics need some improvements.

We can't improve what isn't there yet.

No one slow down because there is no reason to slow down. People won't slow down if they have no good reason to slow down. Give them special rewards, give them an actual incentive to do it. I don't think they didn't listen because it wasn't fast enough,I think they didn't listen because there was no reason to ''stealth'' it.

im gonna make a slowpoke thread.  why are players so slow? i get to a yellow doubledoor and have to wait sooooooooo loooonng

If you were moving with the rest of the team, you wouldn't have to wait. Problem solved! :D  Same with extraction site. If you're at extraction so far ahead of everybody else that you have to stand around waiting...   Well, you can spend time playing the game, or you can spend time being bored and waiting for people to catch up.  The choice is yours. I mean this is a pretty obvious case of "If it hurts to do something, stop doing it".

Again I feel like it's necessary to point out that in solo mode you never have to wait for anybody, and you can go as fast as you want.
