Abilities Should Show Their Actual Energy Use On Cast

When you cast an ability and that big white number saying "25 energy" blah blah shows up, that number doesn't accurately reflect energy efficiency.

Now strangely enough, Blind Rage will make that number go up, but Fleeting Expertise and Streamline won't make that number go down

it's based on the amount of affinity u get

The number doesn't mean the amount of energy you use, it means the amount of affinity you get for using that ability. That's why you can also see it appear on top of you Sentinel when it uses an ability, because the Sentinel gets exp for using abilities as well.

Still silly how third party sources provide more information than the game to you. i.e Codex vs Wiki, wiki is faster, much faster :/

People will try to improve upon what they like. If companies takes advantage of it or not is up to them, but it's free labour so why not? The people obviosly like it.

It's not that hard to look at your energy (if it's full) , use the skill and see how much your skill cost.

But still good idea.

Yeah but when trying to find the ideal build for you it is really annoying going in and out of games just to (maybe) use one ability, this tied in with underranking mods would be very useful and encourage people to use more complex builds (those who don't go for powerhouses and use 5 formas a day)
