(PSN)WallyZ21
Hi. Playing about 2 to 3 hours a day and lately (since upgrade 14 PS4) there is a definite lack of fusion cores mods. Kind of run out now and my frame is not seeing much progress. I suppose Sumpo are weening us over to accepting micro transactions for fusion cores! I'll stay alert for fusion cores. SgtFlex
I don't think much has changed at all in terms of drops, seeing as 14.5 on PC and PS4 shouldn't be much different. Not sure, perhaps you're just playing against enemies that just don't have them in their drop tables lately?
(PSN)IIIDevoidIII
I'm on the opposite end of you. It seems I've been finding a lot more Uncommon fusion cores per minute of gameplay than I have ever. The T4 survival Rare Cores may have been nerfed with the inflation of the new prime equipment (proof required), but I have seen no evidence of a nerf. Moved to a more appropriate section. Ninjamander
I did notice I get less fusion core and I have more trouble to level up my mod. Maybe is just RNG...idk..
darthdart
One word. Nekros. I rest my case.
Monolake
Cores (and mods overall) droprate got nerfed quite a long a time ago, it can be tight and require lots of farming to rank up long mods. But now you have T4S with 5x r5 to solve the problem.
Ptylerdactyl
i've noticed a lack of everything that isn't uncommon 5, rare 5, rare 3, or common 3 dropping. i haven't gotten anything else since about update 13. not that i really cared for anything other than those, but still. SpongyPenguin
I haven't noticed a drastic drop in fusion cores. It's possible, but there is a more likely culprit. When you rank up your mods, each subsequent level requires twice as many fusion cores as before. That may be why you seem to be running out much sooner. GregoryGalahad
One word. Nekros. I rest my case. There is yer answer, good Sir.
Lakitel
Depends on the mods. Also depends where you look for them. If you want to farm them, defense missions are usually good for that. I also generally tend to use any and all mods to upgrade, especially since some mods I have in the 10s :P
(PSN)WallyZ21
Maybe I spoke to early or not but I played several hours yesterday and the first two missions I farmed 15 fusion cores and then nothing for the rest of the night. I tend to agree defense missions get you a lot of mods but only if you survive! Also the Cryotic missions get you a lot of mods too. Basically it's missions where the more you kill the more mods you get. That goes without saying. However if your warframe is currently weak (due to been polarised) then those missions aren't going to help if you lose. I played two Cryotic missions in a row, the first I got 10 cores the next I got zip/nada. P.S. What's the reference to "Nekros" mean (Sorry I haven't caught on)!!! Chroia
The best place atm is T4 Survival. There's a fairly common 5xR5 pack in the Rotation A pool (5th and 10th minutes out of every 20), and possibly in the Rotation B pool (15th minute of every 20) as well (Citation needed). If you don't have the mods (or gear, I guess) for that, the next best is Cryotic Front, though the reward pool's much larger, so you'll get less of them. I can't speak to R5 cores, but I've been seeing a fair amount of U5s. The 'Nekros' refers to his Desecrate ability. "Forces fallen enemies around you to drop additional loot." a.k.a. Warfarm, Farmframe, rice farmer, etc. Kill stuff, spam Desecrate, almost double the chance to get <stuff>. (PSN)WallyZ21
Well that takes the cake! Last night I played (and finished) two new missions on Sedna. I'm not the greatest of players but I manage to complete the missions without dying. Number of mods!!! Zip, zero, nada, none, naught, nothing!!! That's gotta be bullS#&$, guys!!!!!!!!!!! The game is getting stingy.
