Renegade343
And once that is practiced well, off to cryptology (and maybe trying to apply that to Warframe)! What do you want to see with cryptology and Warframe?

Letter13
Modular arithmetic is easy peasy lemon squeezy. Also extremely useful when programming.

All it probably took was around ten minutes of just looking at one page of modular arithmetic to understand.
notlamprey
I'm not sure my 6th grade math teacher knew what she was doing when she went off-curriculum and tried to teach us this stuff, but I am SO glad she introduced the concept anyway. Yes, kids, you absolutely will use math outside of school - especially if you can find a job doing math for rich people who can't or don't want to. Yes, kids, you absolutely will use math outside of school - especially if you can find a job doing math for rich people who can't or don't want to. There are four main types of people in the world: 1. People who are excellent in math, and can use/teach it well. 2. People who are excellent in math, and cannot use/teach it well. 3. People who are bad in math, and cannot use/teach it well. 4. People who are bad in math, and tries to make people think that they can use/teach it well. I have a small feeling your teacher might be in the second or fourth category.

She did a fine job as far as I was concerned. I went to school with a lot of kids who didn't demonstrate any real gift for academics.
