Or, rather, it's extremely unlikely. They're constantly developing their UI so I'm sure we may see something besides the current ring o' planets eventually. Just to add onto this, they specifically noted that the new UI and old UI would not be compatible for matchmaking. They shot down a UI switch option way back when U14 first came out. (PSN)WiiConquered Posted November 18, 2014 Share Posted November 18, 2014 I heard that the new map was aimed for console compatibility and stuff, but now i was thinking about Donkey Kongish map, that was built for console with TVs that had like 300 lines, and no one had problems picking missions there as far as i remember From a console player, I think most of us preferred the old starmap as well. I personally had never bothered doing Eris (because before 15.1 for us it was just another Corpus (old) Ice Outpost without a boss or anything). Now, when I try, I have no clue what connects to what or how to unlock missions. If I were to change the new system, 1. I would remove the Void and Derelict from the Starmap, 2. I would connect the planets in the order we progress to them instead of in a circle, using lines to show the unlock order, 3. I would also connect the missions in order of progression, using lines to show unlock order. I would space out the missions, only showing the name and faction. The other information would be available as players scrolled past the mission type. With the Void, I would add a quest to introduce it, and a new segment to access all key missions like the Void, Derelict, and (sigh) Vey Hek. (what ever was i doing) The ambiance was great too. I like the liset but i miss the old solar map, yes it was painfull to use first but atleast it showed the progression and had great feeling. Funny thing is that my brother used to play with controller but than switched to keyboard and mouse when this menu added says its actually worst with controller.
