Ohh scripts? I think they are fine, so long as it is scripts for pressing buttons only. Like using one for auto clicking

Although we rather our players experience the game as is, we do understand that some tasks are very repetitive and players will use their gaming hardware to automate tasks that you could do yourself, such as clicking to shoot a weapon 10 times as to reduce the actual amount of physical stress is totally fine. What we do not expect from any of our players is complete automation, such as auto aiming, targeting, or any action that could remove the human element of gameplay. With that being said, you can use macros at your own risk. Depending on how you're using the macro, it could potentially get you banned; so be careful.

AKA you can set up an auto click to help you claim hp/energy cakes from the foundry every minute,

 

you Can't make a macro that will let you sit on viver and spam 4 for 6 hours.

Its very clear imo.Dont use it for things like auto-aim which is kinda cheating.You can use it for other things.

No, you cannot make a script like that. It removes the "human" element aka you from the game.

If you make a script that let the game play itself you risk getting banned.

You can use macros to help shooting faster, I've been using this since the beginning of open beta, it won't get you banned.

 

I wouldn't, however do more than help you click faster. Automating longer sequences of actions is crossing the line imo.

From this statement we must garner that autohotkey is a program designed to automate an action and it's use is therefore a ban-able offense, however it has been stated by DE previously in another thread that they are aware some individuals have a handicap or issue preventing consistent use of some of the more repetitive movement actions therefore autohotkey is not logged as a hack or exploit but DE cannot provide support for it's use as it is a third party application.

The question's been answered pretty clearly. Macros are allowed, so long as they do not provide automation. A macro to click a lot, or spam 3 for Desecrate, or even to turn a slide attack into a single button is probably okay. Anything that you can click and then walk away and get results is not.

 

Basically, use macros exclusively for replacing repetitive actions with a single click. You can pretty safely use a macro to click quickly.

 

Autohotkey will not be detected as cheating software. Some of the things you can do with the program may result in a ban.

Most modern gaming mice/keyboards already come with software that allow you to make a rapid fire macro.
