Renegade343
That weather reports will start reporting the temperature in Kelvins. "Amsterdam will have sunny periods, and with a temperature range of 298 to 301 over the next few days.". Should probably scare the hell out of normal people, and make physicists (and chemists) (and any job that needs temperature to be reported as Kelvins) laugh. UnknownGunneryChief
Kelvins don't make sense and celsius is much more simple, so I hope that never happens. /thread

Azure_Kytia
But I like having the freezing point of water as the baseline for our measurements. It's much more topical and relevant to the average person than absolute 0.I yearn for the day the entire world takes up SI.
WingedCrusade
Better than farenheit.Dear christ don't even mention Fahrenheit here. 273.15. A nice, round number. Shhhh, same thing.I'd wait for my friends to flood text me - "Holy sh*t did you see the weather report? We're gonna die!" And sadly, yes, I know there are people in my school who'd probably believe that... BUT LUCKILY! My friends are smarter than that. Doom_Bunny
Fahrenheit isn't that difficult. And I'm not even 'murican. Fahrenheit it self isn't difficult, it just makes other things difficult. Especially when people start using fahrenheit in countries that use celsius. "it's 100deg outside." What? later you find out this person's country uses fahrenheit and 100deg = 37.78deg celsius. It's like driving on the wrong side of the road because in your country you drive on that side.
